Getting aware
Physical plane
Physically, awareness can mean that you are getting aware, i.e. during a massage,
of certain painful muscles, while those muscles “normally” are not painful.
The pain in the muscles is not created by the massage, but by relaxing the muscle.
You experience that some muscles are under tension without knowing or feeling it under "normal" circumstances.
Mostly these muscles are under pressure by habits and the way we treat our own body.
For instance, the way you sit in a chair at work or “hang” on a couch (in front of the tv).
By getting aware of this wrong posture, you can change this by focusing
on the right posture.
When you start, it can be difficult to focus and concentrate on the necessity of changes
of the necessarry changes, but after a while it will be easier and will feel more natural.
Massages can help in a physical way by relaxing the muscles of the body
and by putting them in the right position.
When you want to keep the muscles in the right position for a longer time
(to cure the complaints),
you will have to work actively by changing your position/attitude.
Emotional / Psychical
The same principle works for the emotional and psychical levels,
although the energetic massage is more often the better choice here.
When there is tranquillity in your body and mind, this can be seen with hsp,
you have the room to get a clear view and to see how to handle the situation.
(i.e. the emotional situation you are caught up in)
By a moment of relaxation, you can come to the most ingenious solutions.
During the energetic massage you can get aware of feelings and thoughts that:
- Till now were unconscious, but are now getting aware.
- You were aware of in the past, but for several reasons placed in the background (got / made unaware).
In the first case there is development, since there are new and unknown emotions coming up
that you learn to know.
In the second case there can be development.
This depends on the Origin and Nature of the thoughts and emotions that come up.
When emotions from the past come up during the energetic massage,
this usually means that there are (partially) unsolved emotions or situations.
The energetic massage takes care of a relaxed but powerful release of these tensions.
Example:
Someone has a bad relation with óne of his parents.
When he or she is older, the situation has come to a certain tranquillity, but this is initiated by the child
(by adapting itself, since there is also the other parent to consider).
The child (who is an adult now) has to accept a lot (to keep the relation somewhat relaxed),
but the frustration of the situation builds up in his body.
- This person should get aware of his own behavior (there is a too much acceptation)
- Consider if and what needs to be changed.
- At least, make sure there is a way to release the frustrations and stress.
(talk with a friend, sports, massage, creating music, therapy etc.)
By getting aware of this “wrong” psychical / emotional attitude, you can make in
full awareness a change by creating a new attitude.
When you start, you’ll have to concentrate a lot by changing your attitude actively,
but after a while this is done more easily and naturally.
Energetic massage helps in psychical and emotional situations by relaxing the nerves
and cleansing the meridians from energetic blockades,
at which people regularly come into a meditative state.
When you want to continue this relaxing state and want to be relaxed more often
(which means you will have a clear view at your own situation and see the importance
of your own behaviour in situations),
you will have to work actively by changing your own mental / emotional attitude.
